Life has moments where it can be too much to handle on our own. Maybe we are struggling financially. Maybe we are grieving. Maybe there's too much on our plate. Whatever the situation, leaning on God's strength can give us the power to persevere and push through. Down below are five verses that remind us about the beauty in finding strength in the Lord's love and authority.

Psalm 73:36 - My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

2 Corinthians 12:9 - But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Jeremiah 32:17 - Ah, Sovereign Lord , you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

Psalm 28:7 - The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

Leaning on God's strength is easier said than done, but you just have to let go and let God. Pray for yourself. Ask others to pray for you. Prayer is truly so important to allowing God to take control of your life. Eventually the days will seem brighter, and things will get better. Most of us want to do it all on our own. Letting God do what He does gives us this: Unexplainable peace in times of sorrow and struggles.
