When In Doubt... GOD!

Often times we find ourselves asking God, why? We don’t understand His reasoning and so our faith becomes smaller. We doubt He knows what He’s doing and we think we would have been better off putting faith in ourselves. We let the doubt win. However, moments like these are great opportunities to make our faith stronger and beat the doubt!
Questioning God is not necessarily a bad thing. It happens quite often in the Bible. For example, Moses questioned God’s decision of choosing him to be the leader of His people. Yet, God was firm in his choice. As humans, we are bound to question things we may not have solid answers to. Sometimes, questioning is good, as it leads us to want to seek more information – the Bible! This questioning proves our interest in getting to know God, who He is, and His character. Many people just “love” God and put no thought into it. The motive behind this a lot of the time is just earning a free ticket into heaven. But why would you want to go somewhere to a God you don’t even want to bother getting to know? So don’t be afraid to ask questions! Don’t think that desiring answers is you rejecting God, and don’t let it fear you into living in confusion. But, don’t let it push you away from your faith either. What better person to ask than God Himself?
Since we do not have personal physical evidence of God, we are more prone to doubt. That’s the beauty of having faith in Him, though. Although we cannot see His physical presence, we know He is there. Our faith will never fade when we focus on our future with Him. Don’t let the world try to rob you of salvation when the world has not experienced God the way you have.
When we have Christ as our foundation, the houses we build on our faith will never be shaken down by doubt. We will flourish and be blessed for choosing God every time! Have faith made out of steel and the big bad wolves of this world will lose their breath before blowing you down.
